Do I need an account to upload?

No — the main site works with no sign-in. Accounts are only needed for the developer API.

Is there a file size limit?

5MB per file. Zips are unpacked and each file inside gets the same 5MB check.

How long do files stay up?

Permanently, unless deleted with the delete link shown right after upload. There's no automatic expiry.

Can I delete a file after uploading?

Yes, but only using the delete link/button shown at upload time. It isn't saved or shown again after you leave that page — if you lose it, the file can't be removed through the site.

What happens if I upload the same file twice?

You get the existing link back instantly — nothing new is stored. This works across different users too, not just your own repeat uploads.

Why do some links download instead of showing a preview?

Only images, video, audio, and PDF preview inline. Everything else (zips, executables, etc.) triggers a direct download since browsers can't render them.

Can I embed a rawpx link in my own site (e.g. as a CSS background or <img>)?

Yes — that's the intended use case for the raw /f/<hash> links.

Is my upload private?

No. Anyone with the link can view or download the file. Don't upload anything you don't want to be publicly accessible.
